Fusion Shows 10th Birthday @ The Crofoot 1/13/18
I randomly stumbled across this show on Twitter after seeing someone RT it onto my timeline. Of course, it was 10 minutes from where I lived so I emailed about how I could cover the show for Indie Band Guru. After hoping in an Uber on cold January night where the venue felt to be 6 degrees, I found a ton of great local and regional bands.
Neck Deep @ Majestic Theater 2/9/18
We droved in a blizzard to this after I found tickets to it on Facebook four hours before doors opened. I dropped my resident assistant responsibilities on to another RA (who also ended up in the hospital that night???) and headed out in the snow to have a great night letting go all the stress I felt about life. This show was great with Creeper, Speak Low If You Speak Love, and Seaway and was so worth an unusually long commute to Detroit. I wrote a whole post about it!
Lorde @ Little Ceasers Arena 3/28/18
How else would I have spent the day after my 21st? With my queen Lorde of course! This was one of my favorite shows of 2018.
The Maine @ 4/21/18
Oh, the tradition of taking a trip during finals week and how this year we voyaged on down to Ohio instead of Chicago. This was so worth the eight hours in the car because I love The Wrecks and The Maine.
Bhad Bhabie @ St. Andrews Hall 5/16/18
Memes, memes, and memes. Who know a viral sensation could turn her 15 minutes of fame into a thriving rap career.
Harry Styles @ Little Caesars Arena 6/26/18

If you know anything about me, its probably how much I love one direction. Not to sound dramatic but I had the TIME. OF. MY. LIFE. tonight at Harry Styles. There’s probably a much longer, and sappier post to come but what’s important is that I had 0 idea the tickets I bought on a whim last Sunday ended up being the best decision of my life as I ended up this close to the man I call my son. As I was sobbing leaning in the barricade singing along to If I Could Fly, THE harry Styles watched it happen so #noregrets
Yeah so like……..
Harry Styles @ Bankers Life Field House 6/27/18
This is a story all about how I spent $1,000 on Harry Styles….
Paramore @ DTE Music Theatre 6/29/18
Paramore is the perfect way to spend a summer night. This concert was nothing short of wonderful despite it being over 95 degrees. #PureMichigan
Halsey @ Common Ground 7/6/18
This was her first show post (first) breakup with G Easy and let me tell you, we had an emotional rollercoaster. I love Halsey and it was my first time seeing her live. She lived up to the hype I had heard about her live shows and I was so glad I was mildly tipsy the entire time and recorded a 13-minute Snapchat story.
Panic! At The Disco @ Little Caesars Arena 7/14/18
I have no word for this show because it was so perfect overall. Brendan puts on nothing short of a show filled with fantastic visuals, a soaring piano, and energy. 10/10 would see again.
Taylor Swift @ FirstEnergy Stadium 7/17/18
Ashley and I decided to go on an impulse trip to Cleveland to see Taylor Swift and it was INCREDIBLE. Best last minute decision we could have ever made. The tickets we bought in the 500s actually ended up getting messed up so we were upgraded to the 100s which was an AMAZING jump.
The Adventures of Kesha and Macklemore @ DTE Music Theatre 7/18/18
For some reason, I did not post this one on Instagram so…. YIKES Me. This was also the week I went to two concerts back to back and then two Warped Tours back to back I was like like slowly deteriorating.
Warped Tour @ Meadow Brook Amphitheatre 7/20/18
Day 1 of Warped Tour I spent taking pictures and interviewing bands. Amazing experience. RIP Warped Tour.
Warped Tour @ Tinley Park Hollywood Casino Amphitheatre 7/21/18
After walking like literally 20 miles at the Detroit Warped Tour, I then stayed up for 24 hours after getting 3 hours of sleep to go do it all again. Was totally worth the bronchitis I got but I wouldn’t have missed Warped Tour for the world.
Charlie Puth @ DTE 8/2/18
Ugh, what can I not say about Charlie Puth. His music is the best blend of 80s synth and modern pop. Just perfect all around.
All Time Low @ Majestic Theatre
All Time Low was an all-time high.
Niall Horan @ DTE 8/28/2018
Listen, I love One Direction a lot. So, of course, I supported the little Irish lad.
5 Seconds of Summer @ Meadow Brook Amphitheatre 9/11/2018
If you know me, you’ll know I’m also obsessed with 5 Seconds of Summer so I made 14-year-old me’s life and splurged on pit tickets and sound check.
Taylor Swift @ Lucas Oil Stadium 9/15/2018
So not even a week into my senior year of college, Ashley and I decided we were stressed and we needed to see Taylor again so we hopped in the car and ran away to Indianapolis to see it all again. The dad behind us totally hated me but he’ll get over it.
Neck Deep @ Royal Oak Music Theater 9/29/2018
My friend Joe got a black eye and they covered “Torn” which was the first song 1D sang together so I cried in the pit.
Troye Sivan @ The Fox Theater 10/14/2018
Troye was the best concert I could’ve asked to end my year with.
